Ha Giang is located on an altinude of 1,000 m – 1,600m. Ha Giang Province has 4 districts: Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Meo Vac and Dong Van. Dong Van Karst Plateau is one of Vietnam’s special limestone areas, housing prominent imprints that depict the development of the earth’s crust.

Hotel in Ha Giang Day 2: Ha Giang City - Quan Ba – Yen Minh (~100 km/ ~3,5 hrs by car/van)
After having breakfast at your hotel, you will take an easy walk to visit Tien Thang Village, the village of the Tay people. You will have the peaceful feeling while viewing the scenery of stilt houses with thatch roves and palm trees. Continue drive up to the highland region of Ha Giang, the scenery is getting more stunning with high passes and august mountains. You will have opportunities to enjoy wonderful vie and take photos of Quan Ba pass and Quan Ba Heaven Gate. Arrive in Yen Minh town, you spend the rest of the day rambling around a hill tribe village near the town. Then check in hotel and relax. Free time in the evening.

Breakfast at your hotel, 08:00 am driver through Dong Van Karst Geo – park, is unique combination between Geoheritages and cultural heritages . There are up to 80% of the karst formations of Dong Van Plateau are limestone formed by environment conditions and different development stages of nature. On the way, the car will stop over for taking the photos and enjoy amazing scenery. You will exploring local life and the culture of the hill tribes such as the H’mong village in Lung Cam and the residence of the Vuong family, called “Palace of Hmong King”. After lunch, we continue drive towards Meo Vac town. We make some stops en route for admiring the scenery and taking some photos of Ma Pi Leng Pass. After breakfast, we start our road trip to Bao Lac, a scenic route will take you to the Ma Li Leng Pass from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Nho Que River. On the way, you will enjoy see one of the northeast’s stunning view. Arrive in Bao Lac, start hiking to visit Khuoi Khon village-mostly inhabited by Black Lo Lo ethnic group who well known with their bronze drum and their attire. Lo Lo women weave fabrics with which they make skirts. Usually the consumers are not for sale. If a visitor is willing to buy, the local women will meet their demand. Some visitors have placed orders to have a Lo Lo ethnic costume. The fabrics are often hot colours that go well with silver or aluminum jewels, hence highlighting the wearer’s beauty and charm. Lo Lo men, when searching for their future wives, often evaluate carefully their girlfriends through their ability to make clothing. Lo Lo people depend mainly on maize and rice as forms of income generation.

Reviewed On: Oct 06, 2016We were a group of six boys and girls, we did this as a part of our two week holiday in SE Asia and it was one of the highlights of our whole trip. After searching and reading many reviews about the North Vietnam we finally decided to go with Ha Giang Trekking Company. We were picked up promptly at our hotel and taken to the site by a very nice diver in a comfortable air-conditioned van. We brought our own snacks and water but definitely didn't need to. They gave us loads of water from start to the end.But be careful, you need to bring enough sweater since the place can get really cold in the evening. Everything is included and there are no hidden costs, we got so much for our money than we would have expected and the trip worth every penny. All in all, an amazing and great value adventure withloads of picture opportunities and different experiences. Thank you Trekking HaGiang, you guys did a great job!

It was full of tastes from the stunning mountain view through the pass to the calm lake in Ba be. I love my trip arranged professional and detailed by the tour operation especially my accommodation. Throughout the trip, I always spend time in the great and nice view hotel or homestay to make the most of the atmosphere of the city. All of the staffs were outstanding and helpful. Reviewed On: Jun 17, 2016I visited lots of caves in the world and experienced limestone and karst places, this is my first time witnessed this shape of Dong Van Karst Hill. It looked glorious and natural scenery. Eventhough Ha Noi and HCMC is getting developed day by day, their surrounding areas still keep its special features like their ethnic villages situated along the way from Ha Giang to Babe. I love their honest way communicating with the tourist in spite of not able to speak English. Each of different ethnic group has its own costume and traditional culture even though they were lived in the same places for decades. Thanks to the tour guide for his information and knowledge widen my mind. It was a memorable trip I have ever had. Thank you so much

We took a 7 days tour with my college for our trip to Ha Giang to have a week break getting away from the modern life. Our trip started in Ha Noi and took us more than 6 hours driving by car to Ha Giang. We visited many places in Ha Giang such as Dong Van, Yen Minh. Each of them had its own scenery which brought us from this surprise to another one. In my own view, I fell in love with the road leading to MeoVac town where the view looked scary but wild and challenging. I have never seen any Terrace Rice Field huge and grand as it appeared in this area. This trip wouldn’t get us disappointed because we were completely convinced by the beauty of nature. Thanks a lot for your well-arranged system!

We were picked up promptly at our hotel and taken to the site by a very nice diver in a comfortable air-conditioned van. We brought our own snacks and water but definitely didn't need to. They gave us loads of water from start to the end.But be careful, you need to bring enough sweater since the place can get really cold in the evening. Everything is included and there are no hidden costs, we got so much for our money than we would have expected and the trip worth every penny. All in all, an amazing and great value adventure withloads of picture opportunities and different experiences. Thank you Trekking HaGiang, you guys did a great job!

It was full of tastes from the stunning mountain view through the pass to the calm lake in Ba be. I love my trip arranged professional and detailed by the tour operation especially my accommodation. Throughout the trip, I always spend time in the great and nice view hotel or homestay to make the most of the atmosphere of the city. All of the staffs were outstanding and helpful. Nice places to visit and friendly staffs along the way. It’s the trustworthy company!

"Amazing Karst Geo Park"

Reviewed On: Jun 17, 2016I visited lots of caves in the world and experienced limestone and karst places, this is my first time witnessed this shape of Dong Van Karst Hill. It looked glorious and natural scenery. Eventhough Ha Noi and HCMC is getting developed day by day, their surrounding areas still keep its special features like their ethnic villages situated along the way from Ha Giang to Babe. I love their honest way communicating with the tourist in spite of not able to speak English. Each of different ethnic group has its own costume and traditional culture even though they were lived in the same places for decades. Thanks to the tour guide for his information and knowledge widen my mind. It was a memorable trip I have ever had. Thank you so much

Reviewed On: Jun 16, 2016I booked a tour with trekking Ha Giang a month before we arrived. Their system worked smoothly from the customer services to the tour operations. We took a 7 days tour with my college for our trip to Ha Giang to have a week break getting away from the modern life. Our trip started in Ha Noi and took us more than 6 hours driving by car to Ha Giang. We visited many places in Ha Giang such as Dong Van, Yen Minh. Each of them had its own scenery which brought us from this surprise to another one. In my own view, I fell in love with the road leading to MeoVac town where the view looked scary but wild and challenging. I have never seen any Terrace Rice Field huge and grand as it appeared in this area. This trip wouldn’t get us disappointed because we were completely convinced by the beauty of nature. Thanks a lot for your well-arranged system!
